The Giver Lit C #2

1. When Jonas learns all about colors, he claims "it isn't fair that nothing has color". Why does he say this?

Jonas learns about colors, so he thinks it is unfair that his community cant see color, but him and the giver can see color. There are few reasons why he thinks it is unfair. without color the world is not fun. People wont get to know what things really look like, if u look at something that see black and white you cant really describe it. I also think it is very unfair that the community cant see colors but Jonas and the giver can.

If u cant see any colors the world means nothing. You wont know how anything looks like. color makes you have more emotions and feelings. for example, the color red is for anger and love, the color blue is for calm and peace. Without these colors you wont have emotions.

Jonas wants the community to be equal. He wants them to enjoy the world and see it properly instead of looking at black and white. Color can change peoples lives a lot. I think there are a lot of other things Jonas thinks it is unfair for the community to not see color, but only the special people get to. These are the reasons why i think Jonas said "it isn't fair that nothing has color"
